This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of the Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses SociallyBid. If you violate it, we may remove content, suspend or terminate your account, and take any other action permitted by the Terms or law.
1. Prohibited conduct
You may not, and may not help or permit anyone else to:
- Break the law — use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Fraud and deception — impersonate any person or entity; misrepresent your identity, audience, metrics, or affiliation; create fake accounts; or engage in any deceptive or fraudulent scheme.
- Fake or manipulated engagement — buy, sell, or use bots, click farms, fake followers, fake reviews, fabricated testimonials, or artificially inflated metrics.
- Undisclosed advertising — publish paid or incentivized endorsements or content without the disclosures required by our Advertising, Endorsement & SEO Disclosures.
- Prohibited content — post or transmit content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, sexually exploitative (especially involving minors), hateful, harassing, threatening, or that promotes violence or discrimination.
- Infringement — violate anyone’s intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights, including publishing content or links you are not authorized to use.
- Circumvention — evade or attempt to evade platform fees, escrow, verification, rate-limits, or security controls; take a transaction "off-platform" to avoid fees after connecting through SociallyBid; or reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Platform.
- Malware and abuse — upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, probe or test the vulnerability of any system, or interfere with the Platform’s operation or other Users.
- Regulated or dangerous offerings — use the Platform to promote content or products you are not legally permitted to promote, or that violate a third-party platform’s rules.
- Spam and misuse of messaging — send unsolicited bulk messages, phishing, or harvest other Users’ information.
2. Content standards
All content you publish must be accurate, lawful, properly disclosed, and something you have the right to publish. You are responsible for your content and for any consequences of publishing it.
3. Reporting
To report a violation, contact [ABUSE/SUPPORT EMAIL]. To report copyright infringement specifically, use our Copyright / DMCA Policy.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so.
